Signed and Numbered Mezzotint Print
“Dance Together” is a luminous example of G.H. Rothe’s mastery of the mezzotint technique—a rare and intricate printmaking method that allows for exceptional depth and texture. In this limited edition work, numbered 107 out of 150 and hand-signed by the artist, two dancers are entwined in motion, their bodies echoing strength, balance, and graceful connection.
Rothe, known for her deep fascination with ballet and the human form, captures a fleeting moment of shared rhythm and harmony. The dancers seem to emerge from darkness, glowing with life and intensity, evoking a sense of timeless beauty and poetic stillness.
Elegantly framed and professionally matted, “Dance Together” is both a visual and emotional centerpiece—ideal for collectors of fine art, lovers of dance, and those who appreciate the delicate intersection of motion and stillness.
A rare and meaningful piece by one of the great mezzotint artists of the 20th century.
